Meet Marissa Gilbert
Hi, I’m Marissa and I’m so glad you’re here!
Â
Throughout my work, I have seen how meaningful it can be for girls to have a welcoming place where they can connect with others, recognize that they are not alone, and develop practical skills for the challenges they face.
Â
I created The Aligned Space because I believe every girl deserves to recognize her own strengths, feel confident in who she is, and feel hopeful about who she is becoming. I am passionate about helping girls see more than their reflection in the mirror. I want them to understand their value, trust their voice, and recognize what they bring to the table.

The Aligned Space helps girls build confidence, strengthen communication, navigate friendships and emotions, and feel more secure in their own skin. Developing these skills at a young age can give them a stronger foundation as they continue to grow.
This is a space where girls can come as they are to breathe, reflect, connect, and realign while gaining pratical tools they can carry with them beyond each session.

A Little More About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of experience supporting children, teens, and families. I am licensed in Florida, Michigan, and Texas, and my professional background has shaped the supportive, practical, and strengths based approach I bring to every workshop.
Outside of my professional role, I am also a mother, which has deepened my appreciation for giving young people opportunities to develop confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of who they are.
My hope is that every girl leaves The Aligned Space knowing that she is the leading voice in her own life, confident in who she is, grounded in her worth, and empowered to shape the person she is becoming.
